The Pulps, The Adirondacks and Coon Mountain Bill ![]() The Pulps, The Adirondacks and Coon Mountain Bill William Merriam Rouse was one of the unsung authors of the age of pulp fiction.
A story published by Bill Rouse in Collier's was used for a silent movie in 1918.
His step-daughter, Miriam Dubois Babcock, who wrote the 4 chapter biography at the beginning of the book is my mother. She inherited 60+ original, unpublished manuscripts, scores of letters from publishers, editors and agents, and numerous photographs and at the age of 82, decided to write a book.
