Wow - found this still on the internet!

This is a poem that was on my Evergreen Studio site back in the 90's.  The site has been gone for years.

I knew that my son was out there in a humvee or on foot patrol. I had the chance to go to Israel with a delegation representing various American veterans groups. I was able to go to the factories where Israelis are manufacturing some of the technology like interactive armor and specialized tiles for the tanks that protect our children—our soldiers—when there is an explosion. These are amazing innovations that keep our military sons and daughters safe. I was astounded.
